Looks like you have a bid!
Sorry to point it out, but 'excellant' should be 'excellent'. Good luck with it - looks like a nice buggy.

misdee · 26/10/2005 18:40

what did yours sell for?

hello abacus

Mo2 · 26/10/2005 18:51

I think there are lies and there is marketing

"Spare kept at grandparents" for an unused item - perhaps because actually it was pants!
"Lovely cute shoes - hardly worn" - (because they had pesky laces which kept coming undone, and velcro is much better)
"One of my favourite tops for DS" (except he refused to wear it beacuse the inside was scratchy from the applique)
"Still with orginal packaging" (albeit the packaging has been in the loft for 3 years)

But I would never say something was unused or new if it wasn't.

sorry off topic I know but I've been selling bits lately and have loads more to put on when I get round to it. I'd love to say 'hey, check out my stuff' on here but I don't know if it's allowed. I'd also like to check out other MNers stuff.

I never advertise on the For Sale board here because I never know how much to ask. I like eBay because the seller pays what they are willing to.

I always try and be honest as I want positive feedback (does that show I'm still quite new to it?) but with these shoes of DD's I just don't know - they don't look worn and I honestly can't remember if they have been!

misdee · 26/10/2005 19:04

i dont know if we are allowed either. i was just check in the descroption was ok.

I wasn't implying that's what you were doing, sorry if it came across like that!!

vickiyumyum · 26/10/2005 19:09

i sold mine for £130 on a buy it now, but it was virtually brand new had only used it twice. i think they are still fetching at least £100 though.

vickiyumyum · 26/10/2005 19:13

i think you can let people know that you are selling stuff on ebay, i listed stuff on ebay and then offered it to mumsnetters at the current bidding price for which i would withdraw the item and sell it to a mumsnetter, as hadn't thought about selling on mumsnet before.

its the ebayers with shops that are doing it proffessionally that mn has a problem with i beleive!

misdee · 26/10/2005 20:06

sopmeone is asking if i have BIN price for it, do i add one now? what is a good price? i have no idea on how much to put.

GeorgieVickyLou · 26/10/2005 20:15

ask them to make you an offer.. and if reasonable add £10 see what they asay if they agree add the buy it now.

vickiyumyum · 26/10/2005 21:29

yours isn't very old id it? i would ask for £100 plus p&p and see what they say, (have you looked to see how much similar aged ones are selling for on ebay?)

misdee · 26/10/2005 21:34

its 4 months old. i have emaile dthem to say make an offer. will see what they come back with. how do i end the auction early? it already has a bid on it.

OP posts:
vickiyumyum · 26/10/2005 21:36

you can do end the auction early at current price but that would mean the person buying it had to ahve the highest bid. or you can be really naughty and ignore all of ebays rules and withdraw the item as no longer avaliable for sale and conduct your sale through paypal, but means no one can leave feedback.

4 months old i would want at least £100, they are about £150 new aren't they?

misdee · 26/10/2005 21:37

think so.
