we will be moving soon (hopefully) but i want to make sure we're in the catchment area for a good school.
is there anywhere online that will tell me (or better show me on a map) the catchment areas of my local primary schools?

call the local council. And also the local schools.

some will tell you thatthere is no such thing as a catchment... but we all know that there is.

If you look on upmystreet.com and key in the area you want to move to it will tell you, in order of performance, which are the local schools. If you then go to the LEA website you will find the admissions criteria for the schools that like the look of. There may be an easier way, but I don't know what it is.

I'm not sure if you local council have a similar website but this is mine and you just enter a street name or postcode and it tells you which are you designated primary and secondary schools.

The website is below as I don't know who to do links
