If you get time, buy cheap small flowerpots (real not plastic), paint zig-zags or stripes, grow some packets of any 'easy' herb like basil or parsley, put plants into pots and sell 0 you should get £1 or £1.25 for each.

What about asking everyone to fill a glass jar with sweets and bits, decorate them and then do 'a prize every time' for 50p (put raffle tickets on each one)

I remember when I was little going to xmas bazaar and getting a clothes hanger that was covered in pink satin with a decapetated dolls head on top. Oh those where the days... chocolate cigarettes, old spanish coconut tobacco.
On the theme of sweet things, you could knock up some coconut ice or peppermint creams cut into christmassy shapes, both are quick and cheap to make.

Robinw, do you do a 'Mystery Prize' stall? We ask 2 or 3 classes to bring in gifts to the value of £1.50, adults' or children's. We then wrap them all up and put raffle tickets on them. We charge £1 for the kids' stall and £1.50 for adults, so no-one is ripped off, and the buyer gets a ticket which matches one on a parcel. Since all the goods are donated, it's pure profit. Our stall always sells out in under 40 mins. You could ask for Christmassy gifts, to make it seasonal.
Crackers sound fun. You could again have a Christmas theme for the contents, which could be donated or bought.
Have you thought of scrunchies and/or hair decorations. My girls were always suckers for anything pretty like that.

I'm not sure if you're actually wanting to make things, but the Panduro Craft catalogue (newsagents £3.95)sells lots of things including a wide range of Xmas stuff, like kits for 12 mini mice for £7.50. The P&P is a bit on the expensive side, though, unless you can share with someone else.

It's a bit corny and I don't know how you would get hold of some (we found them when out on a trip, which gave me the idea), but pine cones decorated in gold and silver are nice, with red ribbon across the top. I tried to make some once, but made a mess of it - I got more gold on me, than the pine cones! I went to the shops to get some ready made ones from Somerfield - they had 6 for 99p but had sold out. I was once fed up, not to mention extremely messy person. I'm sure you be able to do them better than me though. Basically get some spray paint - 99p a can mine was, make sure you have plenty of newspaper down as well and paint the whole cone, just going round and round by the stalk until it's covered. Oh yes, and don't sneeze like I did!!

I am surprised the pomegranate tree decorations didn't sell mind you. I wouldn't have a clue how to make crackers.
