The last (almost) three years has been a nightmare, which isn't over but things are better.

I have just started posting after being awol from mumsnet + also moving to another Country.

In the past, many of you have given me some nice compliments + words of support and I want to say thank you.

Life's pretty good atm, thanks. Mini-coppertop no.3 is due in March and no.1 and no.2 are doing well.

Haven't you patented those velcro PJs and mattresses yet? I could do with some for my ds2.

jmg1 · 22/10/2005 22:20

ct, congratulations on ct no 3
velcro, that was a good laugh , another business! could do with some for the drive to school, one of the few things I do miss is walking the kids (with the dogs) to and from school in the uk, they seem to get stressed going by car to and from school, or should I say they get me more stressed!

You could even branch out into velcro dog coats. You'd always know where your pooches were. I wonder what "Velcro-Man" is in Portugese.....

jmg1 · 22/10/2005 22:26

strangly enough, velcro-man is not in my Portugues-Ingles dictionary, I shall make a complaint!

coppertop · 22/10/2005 22:33

No velcro-man? Outrageous!

coppertop · 22/10/2005 22:34

jmg1 · 23/10/2005 09:52

Hi piffle, how are you doing?

Great to hear from you jmg1. You've rescued your kids (and yourself) from your MIL - smart move!

You've done a wonderful job of keeping it all together over these hard times, I hope a new era of happiness is starting for you now.

DH and I had a long weekend in Porto last Feb. I can't tell you what a boost it was to get a bit of currant bun in the middle of winter. It really perked us up. Portugal is a great country.

Good to have you back on mn!

jmg1 · 23/10/2005 18:52

thanks anorak
