Clocks going back - what do you do?

My Dad just mentioned/ reminded me this is happening in a couple of weeks and asked me if this was going to mean dd woke up earlier.

Arhhhhhh just got into a lovely pattern whereby she sleeps quite nicely through till around 6.30 - does this mean she wont adjust like we do and we'll end up getting up at 5.30 every day?

Has anyone in previous years done anything to prevent this in the weeks leading up to a clock change?

Shudder. I have become phobic about the Hoobs since the clocks went back when DS was 6 and 18 months, and I was up with him at 5am every morning...
They adjust better when they get a bit older, though.

It will take a few days or even a week for her (and you) to adjust. It's not as bad as you think, truly, but if you're really concerned, start putting her to bed 15 minutes later each day for 4 days.

allhallows - good idea might be worth a try. Hopefully the darkness/lightness changes will help

As my dad lives 9 time zones away, I've had lots of experience with time changes & babies/children. They actually seem to adjust better than adults do!

Don't panic, although I know how you feel! Sleep deprivation is the worst...
