Good websites for Christmas shopping?

Niddlynono · 16/10/2005 18:27

Sopabox has inspired me to do my Christmas shopping online and although I know a load of websites for kids' presents I wondered if any of you can recommend any websites for adult gifts please (for presents between £10 and £100).

I've tried the usual suspects - eg. John Lewis, Heals, Debenhams etc but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

How about theatre tickets (all kids pressies bought online last year and nearly all adults got tickets (baby due just before). Worked a treat.

There was a thread about charity gifts if you think they would like that. There was a great link to Oxfams website. You can buy animals, plants, water, allsorts.

I quite liked that Bombay duck website jane313 linked.

The ticket idea is good too.

What about Lakeland and M&S. I got some gorgeous presents from M&s last year.

Charity Gifts great for those who have everything already.

Bewitched · 16/10/2005 19:40

And Firebox good for unusual and 'cool' presents.

Niddlynono · 16/10/2005 20:09

Thanks for all your suggestions.

Also, if anyone's interested I found this on Happy Magazine's website.

I'm on a roll now, I've been looking at some great sites which I thought I'd share with you...

Swotbooks - great book website - good prices and pretty cheap P&P}

The French House - gorgeous and unusual French style things for home & garden, plus food gifts and really nice children's gifts (no plastic in sight).

Labour & Wait - East London shop specialising in "timeless functional products for daily life". Beautiful and classic things for the home - I want to buy it all (they have lovely children's stuff too).

Graham & Green - just lovely - includes some really nice retro toys.

Coco Ribbon - beautiful gifts for sisters, aunts, wives, girlfriends, mums etc.

Peacock Blue - mainly bedroom and bathroom stuff.

The fact that there are no prices means that I'll never be able to afford any of this, but I can dream, can't I?

I'm never going to buy another present from the High Street again .
