Anyone live in Bournemouth/surrounding areas that can help me?

We are thinking about moving to Parkstone and we are having problems picking an area.

IUt must be family friendly (i am a childminder and need to be near the young new families that are going back to work) and near good schools(primary and state nursery not privateschools or nurseries).

We have seen some big 4 bed house in the worrell drive and Kimmeridge Avenue and would like to know a bit more about it. Can anyone help? Any help much apprecaited.

Jelly - depends what you want - there is not much wrong with anywhere really - I guess if an estate agent is telling you areas to avoid they are thinking more on the lines of whether you could easily sell a house in a less popular area later on?

Canford Heath/Broadstone and Corfe Mullen are really nice places to live. Good schools and very popular with families. Good luck in your search. When you get here you'll have to join us for a MN night out. We've had some good ones!!

We are -planning to spend some time driving area but there is only so much you can look at in a daywhich is why i would much rather be working down here and trying to ask local people as there is nothing in it for them, whereas agents have a huge commission to make and will normally do anything to get it.
