Some people chat on buses. One man behind me on the bus the other day was chatting. To himself. And making comments about the people who got on and off the bus. And farting. And drunk.

I love public transport in London...!

I have a kisses system, it's very organised: I put 3 kisses to my favourite people; 1 if I like them and feel fondly towards them but think they might worry I'm an internet stalker if I put 3 (many MNers fall into this second category - I don't want to frighten them with too many kisses) and no kisses if I don't know them or it is a more formal sort of email. Seems bizarre to put kisses if you don't know someone at all - like writing a letter to your bank manager and putting "yours sincerely, moo xxx"

hunkerpumpkin · 13/10/2005 23:03

Yes, wouldn't sign myself Hunker either, Moo

I have a similar kiss system in place. I sometimes put spaces between mine to make them less threatening, thus: x x x

handlemecarefully · 13/10/2005 23:05

Nope - not even to people I do know. Not a kissy person. Doesn't bother me if people put kisses on texts / emails to me however...

I love you all xxxxx

FrightfullyPoshFloss · 13/10/2005 23:08

Ah a less threatening kissing system. Good plan. Gives the other person time to run (or more appropriately, delete the email) before recieving the next kiss. Should be net etiquette imo.

Carlk · 13/10/2005 23:08

Only to my boss

magnolia1 · 13/10/2005 23:09

Pmsl.... I have to stop myself leaving kisses after my name

Very embarrassing when you email the school headmaster you haven't even met yet

handlemecarefully · 13/10/2005 23:14

Either that or I fancy you!

hunkerpumpkin · 13/10/2005 23:15

Well, you're only human, HMC
