Every time I hear it I like it a bit more, thought it was terrible first time I heard it, but now I'm actually singing along to it.

Sorry had to go do some work!

Yes, it was fab and I suppose at the time I was so caught up in it. I have to admit to not really knowing who he was when we first met. Didn't get up to anything until the night after the party.

He used to phone to keep in touch after I had dd but like I said, last 2 years nothing.

Nailpolish, will definitely pass your name on next time I hear from him ... though think it's a case of if at this point.

I even met his mum who is absolutely lovely and he adores her.

he loves his mum - bless

Was ages before I told dp about it as men inevitably think you are gonna compare them to an ex. Least of all a famous ex.

For what it's worth, I wouldn't get a second look now, I was a mere 26 back then and hadn't had a child so was free of stretch marks and saggy stomach!

Monstersmum · 07/10/2005 11:46

Oh my God - I am so jealous!!!

An ex-colleague of my sister has a totally stunning friend who hung around outside a hotel in Dublin years ago after the first time he played there. He invited then in for a drink and the stunner got to spend the night! She said he was an absolute animal!!!!

I have an agreement with DH that I can "have" RW and it's not infidelity!!!

frannykenstein · 07/10/2005 11:49

I agree, who cares what his latest record sounds like (oops, sorry, they are not called records anymore, dp keeps informing me). He is a bad bad boy and I am the woman he needs to sort him out [lech emoticon]

I was at the party when we met with a sort-of boyfriend (ok, I admit, I was a slapper) which is why we didn't get together that night.

Next day he called and I met him for a drink and then was with him for the next 5 days solid - even threw a sicky x 3! He was definitely worth it!

nailpolish · 07/10/2005 14:47

5 days, sparkly. i would have died and gone to heaven. was he good company? was he generous? was he was he was he was he.......................

im glad you didnt say anything horrible about him by the way

sparkly · 08/10/2005 07:33

NP, he was a lot of fun to be with and I honestly had the best time. We then met up a few times after that but after 3 weeks he left London to do some album stuff and I didn't see him for about 6 months.

I couldn't possibly say anything bad about him - he had it all

nailpolish · 08/10/2005 11:46

sigh!
