LOL at aloha re. dragging strangers in to admire your baby.
We went to a birthday party when DD was a few weeks old and I was very offended that people were not cooing over her and telling me how beautiful she was. People did admire her, don't get me wrong ... but just not enough IMO ...
All I wanted to do was interrupt people's conversations and say, "Just look at my baby, isn't she fantastic?" ... but I had to bite my tongue!

By the way ... the human rights thing of that article is ridiculous ...

Very interesting, ghosty. I really couldn't understand what people were talking about at first. Had images of babies just gathered together in a room or out in the open with lots of strangers passing by!
