vibrating zebra crossings

am i the only person in the world who didnt know that the underneath of the button pressing bit vibrates as it turns to green?

Tried every one I could get my hands on on Saturday - very disappointing results.
Is it only newer ones that do it?
You all must have seen me do it?

Hope this post isn't read out of context...

groped as many as i could get my hands on at lunch, both new and old, but still can't find one that works

i found one this lunch time with the little black cone that spins. no vibrating ones yet - I think they must be a new version.
I shall keep looking
I did notice though that the spinny thing was only on the RHS button thing. I bet i looked strange peering at them

Mme too! I've been groping the things for a year now, all because of this thread, and am still in the dark. Someone tell me where to find a vibrating zebra crossing in NW London please, I'm desperately curious now!

maybe it only happens in wiltshire
