Holiday at Home - where would they send you?

Been watching that BBC programme where they suprise a family by organising their holiday to be at home.

All the families seem to have had a lot of fun on their time at home.

If you've not seen it - the family hand over their normal main holiday budget and tell the organisers how long they go for and the types of things they like. And then the BBC team organise their holiday for them. The catch being that the family stay at home for the most part (all have involved an over night stay away somewhere though so far) - although they only find out they are staying at home at last minute.

Activities so far have included:
a day at a snow dome;
day at a Spa;
visit to the Eden project;
overnight stay in London;
a ticket to a film premiere;
silverstone racing;

etc.

So, if you were to do this, where are the highlights near you? Where would they send you and to do what?

Not seen this programme.

We are near (ish - 2 hours) the Eden Project - been though and wasn't very impressed.

Near to Stonehenge - haven't been there but would like to.

To be honest I'd be happy with a cleaner doing the beds and fresh towels every day - hmm there's probably a niche in the market for that kind of home 'room service' for very short periods - I'd definitely think about it for after I've given birth!

Caerleon Amphithatre is five minutes walk, um- cardiff? Bristol Zoo? DH likes theme parks, so we'd probably get shunted off to either Brean (where Dh would walk out in disgust), or the one near tenby.

Oh, and part of the holiday budget tonight was spent on hiring someone to do all cleaning and cooking for the week.

I am 38 weeks pregnant so I'm currently only watching Home Birth Diaries with the sound off.
