If you like signing for your pets you will like these stickers as you can add your pets too, have to say i wouldn't put pets on but i only have goldfish .

tortoiseshell · 15/09/2005 22:40

You can buy 'Happy Mothers Day from the Dog' cards.

Miaou · 15/09/2005 23:03

God my dd1's godmother does this (and always has), complete with doodled pawprint, I find it intensly irritating which is quite unlike me really! dd1 finds it hilarious though.

And there you have it - perhaps I just think it is childish!!

teeavee · 15/09/2005 23:18

I've seen home-made xmas cards which actually were photos of the people's jack russel wearing a festive hat and playing the piano. and yes, he signed the cards too.
they were obsessed with him (no kids - does that make a difference, perhaps?!)

teeavee · 15/09/2005 23:20

he could also dance the tango

spidermama · 15/09/2005 23:23

My Queenie uncle and his partner do this teevee by making festive pics with their scotty dog as the subject. I think it's cute.

spidermama · 15/09/2005 23:24

Sorry teeavee. Dur!

jampots · 15/09/2005 23:30

no definitely not! my sister once took the huff one xmas when i refused to write her card to her pets too

ediemay · 15/09/2005 23:48

Tortington · 15/09/2005 23:49

sparlover · 16/09/2005 10:25

plants one was in clintons
it was a while back though

Iklboo · 16/09/2005 10:27

Family joke for us to send cards from the pets as well at Xmas & birthdays - but only v v cheap ones! I think it all started with one of us moaning we didn't get a lot of cards one year. I'd draw the line at sending DH a Father's Day card from the dog though

NomDePlume · 16/09/2005 10:32

Absolutely not !!!!

Although my mum does sign birthday/christmas cards to 3yo DD from her, my stepdad and their dog, Trevor. But I think that's different.

NomDePlume · 16/09/2005 10:35

(my DD, her granddaughter)

wartybosoms · 16/09/2005 10:35

worse than that - do you buy them Christmas presents?

oh puuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrlllllleeeeeeeeaaaaase!

NomDePlume · 16/09/2005 10:36

Alfie, our cat gets a foodie treat for Christmas dinner. Nothing extravagant, just not the usual horsemeat slop we usually feed him

Enid · 16/09/2005 10:38

I used to but have got harder and more cynical in old age and now wouldn't dream of it

I don't think I would, even if we had pets (none atm, going to get a cat when we get our building work finished) but my (childfree) sister always signs cards from herself, her H, their two dogs and her horse. I find it a bit odd but would never comment on it to her.

I have to confess that I did it once when I sent a postcard to my friend's children after they had been helping me think of names for our kittens. I put love from me and DH and the kittens names so they would know what I'd called them.......

I also did little paw prints....

charliecat · 16/09/2005 14:05

Yes...with a cat pawprint too
But only when im writing the dds a note..
