for me it would have to be my motorbike jacket, it was £150 which isnt a lot compared to some.

£850 on my wedding dress - and that was 11 years ago!! Looked fab though.

Other than that - a suit for work which was £110 and I begrudged every penny of it .

Never bought anything expensive on impulse though. I would love to win the "x-factor £1000 to spend with a personal shopper" comp.

My wedding dress 11 years ago. Can't remember exactly what it cost but it was in the region of £800 - £1000.

acnebride · 12/09/2005 21:22

Wedding trouser suit for 250 and then second wedding dress 500.

otherwise - hard to remember but it might be 180 for a golden yellow suit from Oasis, bought with first and last bonus when i was in my first job. I loved it but it was actually a bit short and i could never afford to dry clean it so it eventually got ruined through washing.

Just over £2k on my wedding dress.
Otherwise about £550 on a gorgeous baby blue handbag from Lambertson Truex.
Most of my stuff isn't that expensive though!

Oh, does this include accessories?

I treated myself to a Tumi suitcase before moving here. It was a lot .

Tabs · 12/09/2005 21:52

My goodness Expat - they cost a fortune! I have their beauty satchel which cost enough, but the suitcase I liked from them was over £1500 .

About 100 pounds on leather boots (still love em, but not much use with ds around)

About 120 pounds on a dress.

Then of course wedding dress, but I didn't pay for that.

£1200 on my wedding dress. Paid for it with a tax rebate. It was my last act of independant decadence, we needed a new roof but the dress was more important.
