Me:

Ecover multi-purpose cleaner in a spray bottle thingy (for cleaning kitchen surfaces and table) - never use anything else.

Yorkshire Tea.

Persil washing powder.

Lurpak butter.

Anything else I will experiment with, but those are my constants.

This thread gives me flashbacks to shopping for my grandmother. Her shopping list was all branded and if they didnt have the particular brand specified we werent to buy it. She was an adman's dream.

TheUndeadHibernoCaledonian · 12/10/2010 18:47

Heinz tomato ketchup
Hellman's barbecue sauce
Mallon's sausages
Splenda
Almat liquid wash (Aldi) and Comfort fabric softener (everything else I've tried has been bad news for my eczema :( )
WW caramel creamed rice
Flora Light

Can't think of anything else

tyler80 · 12/10/2010 18:48

I have no brand loyalty whatsoever, I have some minor preferences but if it's twice the price I don't bother.

I'm amazed at those who think they can tell the difference between brands of non-applicator tampons once they're out the wrapper and up your fanjo Grin

I did have a preference for kotex tampons when I was using them, but that was purely based on them having pretty wrappers and being able to twist to open. None of this finding a little strip to tear off the middle bit and accidentally leaving the top half of the tampon coated in plastic and then wondering why you were leaking everywhere Blush

Illy espresso coffee ( don;t use instant)
Twinings everyday or breakfast tea bags
Heinz salad cream and Mayo
Makro's own label luxury toilet roll as my dc like to make gloves out of the toilet roll before they wipe their bottoms, so we get through tonnes of it and buy in bulk.

Apple for pc, mp3, phones etc
Tampax compak especially after a nasty experience with sainsbos own brand compact tampons (toxic shock syndrome!!!)
and yes mn favourite john lewis i try to buy from them if i can. underwear and pj's for the children are the best, they wash well do not shrink or change shape and customer service is good.

Twinings Earl Grey.

HP brown sauce. :)

Kellogs cornflakes (don't mind the cheaper honey nut ones but the cheaper plain ones are like boxed scabs).

Aveeno body lotion.

Tony and Guy - spray stuff pre-hair straightening thing. I buy others but they are never, ever as good. I have now Learned My Lesson.

Faaamily · 12/10/2010 20:23

PG Tips. I prefer it to any posh English Breakfast variety. Love a good cup 'o builders, me Grin

Tesco own brand laundry detergent (must admit, I flirted with Asda recently - nowhere near as good and more expensive)

Rachel's Organic children's yoghurts

Heinz baked beans and ketchup

Organix kid's snacks (cereal bars, carrot stix, oaties etc)

McVities Digestives

Cadbury's hot chocolate

CheerfulYank · 12/10/2010 20:33

Gain laundry detergent. It smells delicious.

And Kashi cereal bars for DS's snacks

CheerfulYank · 12/10/2010 20:34

Ooh, oohh, and J. R. Watkins all-purpose cleaner in lemon. No chemicals and it actually smells good. Plus it's been made in Minnesota for over a hundred years, and I like to buy local. :)

Flora

babywrangler · 12/10/2010 20:56

Marmite in a glass jar. That's it.
I don't even eat it that often so the top of the jar gets all claggy and furry.

The dog always gets Burns I 'spose but I like novelty and change.

ValiumtheConqueror · 12/10/2010 20:57

DH and I have a ongoing disagreement over pickles. He insists on Ploughmans, I insist on Branston.
Apart from that and Marmite (another thing he hates) anything we can get in Waitrose (my walkable supermarket, not that i need an excuse) would keep me happy!
