lol thomcat - its soo true

yes take the cleaning stuff you already have in your cupboard - dont forget a scourer for washing up and for cleaning the sides. i second bin bags - or take a stash of carrier bags. the cleaning stuff will be expensive

if you - like me- are one of those " i must must must have a coffee2 type of people then take brew stuff with you.

when i used to take milk i always took tesco powdered milk as it doesnt go lumpy and its as nice ass normal milk - then it wont go off - plus you make it up with cold water so can be used ont he trip with the kids.

also drinks on the journey at petrol stations are expensive - recently i went to a funeral 300 miles away and my nan suggested i fill up a 2 liter milk container she had finished with - with orange cordial.

i said a polite "lovley thanks" thinking she was a bit barking but it really came in handy as it was very hot in the car

Thomcat you've burst me bubble

Thanks for all the great ideas - hadnt thought about cleaning and washing up tbh (not that i thought there wouldnt be any but just forgot about cleaning products).

Just hoping we can squeeze in our own travel cot.

He works next to macro.
We're also taking a travel cot when we go away on Saturday, but I think you'll find there wont be enough room for it in your room.We were told most people actually put it up in the lounge area and sleep out there,so think I'll send Dh to sleep out there and I'll have the bed.

Yes in most caravans there isn't room for the travel cot in the bedrooms. We went on holiday when DD was 6 weeks and had to put it up every night in the lounge and every time she wanted breastfeeding I had to go get her from the far end of the caravan. Sometimes though they offer to hire you cot bars to fit onto the single bed I think.
