diesel now 99.9p at local BP garage - 2 questions

1. is this really due to Katrina/world oil prices or merely profiteering?

2. will they have to get new price display boards with space for the extra digit before they can go up to 100.9?

I work for the NHS, and never claimed back my travel expenses for the smaller journeys when I went to meetings etc.

Now I claim for everything. I can't afford not to.

Apparently the petrol retailers are having to refit a lot of thier signage double-quick. They hadn't anticipated the rises. But they have models which tell them where the refits need to be targetted!

You could almost feel sorry for them!

But as it really REALLY REALLY doesn't need to go up anything like that much, we are paying for the new signs, so don't waste your sympathy LM.
