To all Mumsnetters who don't live in the Midlands...what do you think it is like there? And how do you picture the people?

yiour children are all fathered by your GP's!

colditz · 02/09/2005 23:52

LOL, no, not my house, it's the area I live in. It is known locally as Colditz, as it is built like a maze, full of criminals, and once the council have placed you here you have no chance of getting off!

The local Chavs are known as Colditzers... hence my previous nickname was Colditzmum.

An ironic poke at how we are judged by where we live.... if you like

Everyone in Sussex is called Tarquin and Cressida and have staff with names like Consuela, and a lady called Betty who 'does' for them.

Now, don't spoil it all for me.

sobernow - do you live in Cov now? If not, I agree it must be a curse

colditz · 02/09/2005 23:57

that's why they call it "Sent to coventry"

it's a punishment.
