I'm sure there was a thread about this for a 6 year old last night?
I would get dressing up clothes. It's all my daughter does - dressed as a cheerleader today.

just got my 5 year old a 'walkman' from ELC (£10) and a selection of story tapes (Angelina Ballerina, Roald Dahl etc) Kept her quite for ages on a recent long car journey and she listens to it before going to sleep at night - could be very useful if she normally always on teh go !

sorry

braidies are little dolls with bits of fake hair on them, you can put them in your own hair or play with them, i know they sound vile but my dd1 (nearly 6) very sporty and girly has seen them on tv and really really wants them.

Why not take her out with you? Is she local? They are all so different my DD loves ponies, tiny dogs and cats, drawing and colouring and reading. We have lots of dolls that she won't play with. What about a winter party outfit from Next?

The sticker maker is in Argos and woolworths too. Just got one for my 6 years old twins
