wellies for under £5 - where can I get them

Can only find wellies in Clarks, and they are more than I want to pay. No-one else seems to be doing them at the mo. I know it's summer, but we're off to North Wales on our hols, not Barbados, and they're essential! Anyone know where I can buy some cheaply? Thanks!

I got mine from asda for about £2.75

What size do you want, I have a small collection & would happy to post you a pair, if I have the right size.

Agree -Woolworths is best after getting my DS's first wellies in Clarks, beautifully measured etc but cost over £10 - now I rely on cast offs!

OOh, Lindy, thanks! I need size 8 for dd1.

I'd try Asda, but my local store doesn't do the clothing range, and there's no Woolies near by. Perhaps I'll ask my Dad to have a look in his local Asda (massive, and he loves shopping there).

I had a quick look in M'care yesterday Podmog, but couldn't see any, but it wasn't a very thorough look as my dds were running wild.

Sorry Lilymun - only got smaller sizes at the moment - hope you can find some elsewhere.

Enjoy your holiday in Wales - whereabouts are you going?

lilymum · 30/07/2003 20:03

Never mind Lindy, it was really nice of you to offer. We go every year to North-West Wales to the Llyn Peninsula where my mum has a cottage in the middle of a field miles from civilisation that has been in the family for donkeys years. It's down a dirt track - hence the need for boots!

It's a great place to holiday - 3 miles from the seaside, near to castles, National Trust places, loads of fresh air etc. etc. Close to Snowdonia and Anglesey. Lovely.
