Tent people! Janh, sallystrawberry et al! Another camping question!

Don't have a tent...yet, but have been scrutinising all the camping threads and haven't seen the answer to this question of mine:

How much do campsites cost? Ball park figure please, I imagine they differ a great deal. Do you pay per night?

The Colorado 8's reduced too...only £60 more than the Aztec.

Ours was a five star campsite, 5 people (although only 3 of us counted for billing purposes), 7 nights £145. Good value I thought, they had quite a few facillities (soft play area, park, heated indoor swimming pool at a small extra charge, fab showers etc).

If you're getting a tent, hang on a bit... we got ours half price in the January Sales, very nice it is too!

hat's good advice actually, PeachyClair - there's not much camping time left really (I definitely feel I am a summer camper only) so there's no real rush to buy one now.

Trust me, as an ex DofE Gold Award hiker type, the difference between summer and winter camping is huge- ime experience winter camping is AWFUL! (And with camping, winter starts second week in Septemebr IME)
