Hi can anyone help me.

I have signed a contract starting 14th March, but with 2 weeks settling in weeks.

My child has gone 2 1/2 hours in her settling in week i'm not happy and want to pull her out. Spoke to nursery and they said i have to give 4 weeks notice, surely i dont if its the settling in weeks.

Can anyone give me advice if its true i have to pay.

on my contact it says agreement to apply from 14/03/10, and underneath handwritten its has 01/03/10 2 settling in weeks.

I think you do have to pay because you agreed to send her there and to give 4 weeks notice if she wasn't going when you signed the contract.

They won't be able to fill that place at this short notice and that is what you are paying for - their loss of earnings.

so if i give them notice, this week, and 3rd march that gives me to 3rd april. So she would of gone full time in 14th March, so that means i am giving them 4 weeks notice so i have only to pay for those 2 weeks that she would have been in full time as this week and next would of been free am i right in sayin that
