free nursery for 3 and 4 yrs old???

help........!!!!
i am very new to Britian & am confused.
i did heard abt the free placing of 15hrs per week for the 3 and 4 years old but is this true . my child is going to be 3 on this december. i don know where to look for nurseries that have free 15hrs...which would really help me with my childcare cost..
pls help..............

The free hours are only applicable in term time.

The vouchers kick in the term after their 3rd birthday so in your case January. Our preschool sorts it al out fo us we are just given a form to sign.

Tks alot..i did went to the web n it helps..is there any website for local ofsted chilcare or childminder placing.....that i can look up 2...

If your child is already in nursery, then they will just take the funding off the fees, so your childcare costs will go down.

I think all nurseries accept the funding, but I am not sure.

No it isnt true but you may have missed the cut off for applying. You would have done if you were in Scotland for example.
