Moving: Changing nursery?

My children have been in a nursery at Hendon (Middlesex University) since we arrived. We have been very happy with this till now. My oldest seems to be struggling a lot. I am not sure whether this is due to the fact that she is the oldest of the group and particularly mature (so getting bored) or due to the attitude of the staff of her room. The room is chaotic, I never feel like staying 2 minutes there... very uncomfortable. Both my kids were very happy there before. Now, only the small one seems to enjoy it. My DD does not complaint but she is very anxious, exited and her behaviour has changed dramatically.

We are moving house to NW11. I am considering moving them from the nursery. At the same time, I am scared of moving everything for them: the house, the nursery, etc. and then discover it is not a good option anyway.

I am also wondering whether a childminder would be an option. Is there a way of knowing about the possibilities in my area? Any of you have a childminder/nursery arrangement you would recommend.

I do not want to make more experiments with my kids. Mainly my daughter is starting school next year and it may be better to keep her where she is (despite my reticence) than changing again just to discover other problems

are u anywhere near n3 (finchley central) when u move, a good day nursery is the rocking horse with webcam so u can see what ure children are doing throughout the day! the older children also have the use of the library freely throughout the day with computers (younger children also do) and a well equipped garden and multi sensory room!
