Would you choose the better nursery or more convenient days?

Baby has been offered a place at a local nursery with a really good reputation and which we loved when we viewed: lots of outdoor space, etc. The only issue is, they’ve offered us Monday, Tuesday, Friday which isn’t ideal.

Alternatively, there’s another nursery with a shorter waiting list that could accommodate three days a week on days of our choosing. It has little outdoor space and we didn’t get as good a vibe.

We want her in a good setting but also would prefer she did 3 consecutive days. What would you choose? Grateful for any insights

I would be a bit concerned about a nursery that is so inflexible. Ime they will continue that way.

There is no way by baby would be starting nursery months before I needed them to at a random nursery say so.

To be honest them wanting every baby to start at 11 months would make it a no for me. Babies are very different and will adjust differently to going to nursery. Some mum's/dad's get a full years maternity/paternity leave and want to use it, others don't get that much and need their baby in care from 6 or 9 months. To have an 11 month and be pushing parents to send their baby from them seems wrong.

Are you sure the days you are being offered will be ok with work?
Do you even know what days you will be working? Surely you need childcare on those days?

So, go for the nursery that covers your work needs.
