Hi all,

I want to get my son’s key worker and the baby room overall a present (so two presents) but budget is tight and I’m mainly just not sure what to actually get them! Any ideas - what kind of stuff do people usually get?

Our first Christmas at nursery so I might have got it completely wrong I suppose, but I’ve got a box of chocolates for the baby room and a Christmas candle for his key worker.

I work on a nursery. We often get chocolates to share, but we never expect anything. We do our job because we love looking after your little ones, so a card thanking us or just being told that we are appreciated means so much. Please don’t stretch yourself financially to show gratitude, it’s likely your nursery team are also on a low salary, so know all about budgeting too. A heartfelt thank you is sufficient.

Thanks both! We only started there in early October but they’ve all been lovely, the reception team too. I am thinking possibly a box of chocolates to share but not sure if I should still get the KW something small for herself too? Though I bet they’ve had countless boxes of heroes, celebrations etc!

We do a box of biscuits to share and then a Costa voucher for the key worker.
Money has been tight for us too this month (and I don’t like the key worker if I’m honest!) so she’s got a £5 voucher rather than the £10 I’d usually do, with a nice card!
