Should I feel this bad??

DS is 3 in December. He started nursery last September and was part time all last year. He is now eligible for 30 hours. The plan was to put him in for 3 days full time 9 to 3 and 2 days part time 9 to 12. DH and my sister have said maybe you should put him in full time for the 5 days. I believe Its too much for him but at the same time he is not productive at home and doesnt engage in activities with me like he does at nursery. He went 2 days full time last week and nursery said he did well. I have a 4 month old too and the summer holidays have been super hectic as my toddler can be a handful. He isnt speaking yet either so its quite hard communication wise. I know I might have answered my own question I guess in my head hes going to be in school one day anyway so should he enjoy at home... but he does nothing at home. I want to put him in more for him not for me to "get a break" him He has and does learn alot. When did you put your LO in? I just want to feel better about it I suppose. Thankyou

Bless you - does he love nursery? Do what you feel is right deep down x

@DeeKitch he does! He doesnt cry when we drop him off. He loves the teachers ( they are absolutely wonderful) and he plays with the other children. I think Ive realised how much hes grown up all of a sudden now that I have an infant 😞

When you say he is not speaking yet is that something that is being looked at?
