Leaving the Nursery, ideas for pressies to the staff?

my dd2 started the nursery at 6mths up until when she started school at 5 and my ds2 has also been there for the past year or so. As the nursery, also operates an after school session my ds1 also attends. we are now leaving the area and I am at a loss for what I could get the staff. I usually give them boxes of chocolates at christmas but not sure if I should do that again. I would prefer to give each staff (about 9 of them) an individual pressie but not go over the top moneywise. Any suggestions please?

How much do you want to spend on each temmy?

get some three for two toiletries from Boots or Lush bathbombs and stick them all in a bag for them to pick something

A fiver for each of them maybe but could be a little more or less. I admit that I am not much good when it comes to choosing toiletries as I tend to get what people don't use., body scrubs, foot soaks,.....

How about something for the nursery instead? Books, puzzles?

Or if you would rather do something for the staff how about wine? Most supermarkets do the 3 for £10 offer.

Or toiletries for the staff room? I used to work in nursery and we had to wash our hands a zillion times a day! Nice soap, hand lotion, add good coffee, biscuits etc.

Agree what about - making up a huge basket of magazines - children worker ones eg EYFS, nursery world etc which you can get in WHsmiths, and some like B, Eve, Marie Claire, add some biscuits, tea bags, and some soaps. then when they are on lunch they can have a read, eat some of the biscuits then wash their hands.

I asked the nursery nurses - fruit hamper or chocolate hamper, and guess what they chose? Yep, the Thornton's Chocolate hamper.

Thornton's can make a hamper up for you - well, my local Thornton's will - for whatever price. You'll get a good one for £40 but I think one at £30 will do for all 9!

my dd1 just left nursery after nearly 4 years - i made a card for all the staff with a photo of dd1 in at the age she joined and a recent pic.

and i bought a big plant in a pot for the nursery, they were really pleased, plus some small boxes of chocolates for a few of the individual staff.

Thanks for all your suggestions, the Thornton hamper sounds quite nice and also the idea of doing up a basket is very creative, not something I would have thought of but very good, I knew I could rely on you all
