Safeguarding Rumours

Hi, I’m about to put my 11 month old into a new nursery in Parsons Green in London, but I’ve hear some really worrying rumours about a baby falling off a changing table, other rumours we’ve heard from parents in the area have been really worrying as well, really high staff turnover, use of agency staff, I also heard that there was another incident with a baby recently.

We joined the club opposite called Jesse’s house and the nursery is owned by the same people it looked like a dream, BUT we’re also worried if the cleanliness and maintenance is the same in the nursery then this is a real problem as well, because the club is brand new and in really bad state of repair.

We can’t get a place in our preferred nursery but are on the waiting list. I’m booked to go back to work as soon as he starts nursery and can’t really delay any longer,

Please can anyone help or advise.

Every All,

I am a new mother looking for a nursery place for my son from when he turns 8 months old in September 2026, ideally through to July or September 2027. He has a confirmed place at our first-choice setting, Parsons Green Nursery, from January 2028, and we are currently on the waiting list for an earlier start date there.

In the meantime, we are seeking a high‑quality “stop‑gap” nursery. We recently toured Millie’s House and Parsons House Nursery. Unfortunately, neither felt like the right fit for us. Millie’s House appeared understaffed and quite chaotic, while Parsons House Nursery felt rather rigid; only the staff member leading the tour spoke, and the rest of the team seemed disengaged. We were also disappointed by the fact that we as visitors were allowed to wear outdoor shoes into the baby room. We also found it difficult to distinguish permanent staff from agency/bank staff in both settings.

Could you please suggest any nurseries in the Parsons Green/Fulham area that you would recommend as a nurturing, well‑staffed interim option for our son until he can start at Parsons Green Nursery?
