Toddler stopped eating in the Nursery

Hi there, my toddler recently started attending nursery two days a week, from 9 AM to 3 PM, starting in September. However, she had a three-week break due to being sick and us going on holiday. Since returning to nursery over the past three weeks, she has consistently stopped eating the lunches provided there and refuses to try the food.
Initially, I was pleasantly surprised because she was eating well, but now she won’t touch the meals. Today, when I picked her up, she was already asking for a snack. Out of frustration, I told her I wasn’t happy that she didn’t eat and only gave her a big banana instead of the snacks she usually prefers.
The nursery also mentioned that she had asked for a snack during lunchtime, but they didn’t give her one. I’m starting to question if it’s wrong of me not to offer her something she likes after nursery. Previously, we used to give her favorites when she came home, but today I limited it to the banana. I feel really bad and guilty. Am I in the wrong?

Nope. Clear boundary. You can have food but it will be the things you choose. You want to encourage her to eat, see how it goes.

Thank you. I bought her a sausage roll but didnt offer it. So i hope she tries the nursery food soon.

Nope you're absolutely right.

Draw as little attention to it as possible and I'm sure she'll start eating in nursery again soon.

When you saw draw as little attention does it means not to mention it to her pver and over again? I think me and my husband has this habit of reminding her whenever she is to go to the nursery.
