Hello

I am looking to move to Ealing with my girls.

Do you know any nurseries who are NHEHS feeders?

Or any nurseries in the Ealing area which prepare the children for the 4+ exam?

Thank you very much!

I don't think you'll find many people looking at the nurseries section here, which is primarily about nursery as childcare, who can advise on that. Maybe the private school section of the education board?

For what it's worth I googled just to see what on earth a "4+ exam" might be. The school website itself, which I'm sure you've looked at, says Joining the Junior School at 4+ is selective and the offer of a place is based on an informal ‘play’ assessment in small groups of up to four girls (at this stage we do not expect girls to have any formal education or knowledge).

So I can't imagine any local nurseries are specifically looking to 'prepare' children for that. You'd just want to be doing what childcare providers do anyway, encouraging children to play nicely together in a group, to share and take turns, to be confident when speaking to adults about e.g. introducing themselves, asking for help, to have a go at a new task and explore new toys.

They do though. There are plenty in North West London which specialise in getting children through the 4+ at very academic schools.

Broadhurst nursery for example or Clowns/Manor House.

Sorry, I don't know of any in Ealing OP
