I don’t work there but I have a child in a nursery that was bought by them a few years back. The staff turnover is low, the staff are all lovely. They seem to look after them well. The nursery itself is lovely and really well run - couldn’t ask for more for my child! Will be interested to hear any staff feedback on this thread.

My sister worked as a deputy manager for another nursery group and how they treated her and what they paid was scandalous. N Famly do seem better.

I saw an advert that said a cruise was given to staff if they stayed with them for x amour of years. I'd be interested to know if that's true.

I have PM'd you OP.

I work at N and it is not necessarily a cruise - but 5 years service results in an additional 2 weeks off and a paid trip "around the world" to visit wherever you want to go ( I think a certain amount of countries ). I know people who have used this to do safari's in Africa and mountain climbing and all sorts. It is pretty good.

Wow
What is it like to work for as a company? We have one that has just opened near me.

I have no idea about what it's like for staff, but I have a few friends at the same N nursery, and they are finding a few issues which are very in line with other, much cheaper nurseries.

E.g. use of bank staff, lack of diligence around food intolerances/allergies, feeling fobbed off, etc.

So whilst they might be better overall, they "sell the dream" to staff and parents.

Worth checking the ofsted, seem to be a lot of complaints at some branches and varying ratings (appreciate ofsted isnt the only aspect to consider).

N family have very strict food policy and the children are their number one priority. So if you hear or see anything that is not right you can let the manager know. There is cameras everywhere as child safety is high priority for N family. I worked for them for a short period of time. I loved it there but due to personal reasons had to leave. The company was amazing and treated me well. Even helped me with some of my issues.
