Nursery staff gift - thoughts?

My DD is leaving nursery to go to a local preschool next month, mainly because of logistics because of me being on mat leave otherwise she would be staying on until school. I'm feeling a bit emotional about her going as she loves it, the staff are incredible and I just really want to show my appreciation to them all.
I had thought to get her key worker, who adores my DD and my dd adores her, a nice piece of jewellery (around the £30 mark so relatively special) and then a big chocolate/sweet treats hamper for the room and management staff. Does this sound alright or does anyone have any other suggestions?

No doubt she loves your daughter but she's working in a nursery with presumably lots of other children she also loves, it's not like she is your own nanny.
Jewellery is a very personal gift. TBH I think the chocolate is enough of a gift, but with a nice personal card for the key worker or if you want more, some flowers for her.

@HoHoHoliday oh of course, she's amazing with all the kids so I'm sure loves working with them all. The other thought I had was getting her a gift card to ASOS or something in a personal card for her, she's early 20s so thought she might like that as well!

But flowers also a good idea, thank you!

I wouldn't do jewellery, as mentioned above that's very personal. I've seen cotton shopping bags that you can get your kids artwork printed onto and I was thinking about this.

Voucher is a great idea.

@Flopsy145 I wouldn’t get them anything like this to be fair , necklace is a bit too personal and too much , and she might not even like it at all . She might not wear jewellery at all . So it would be sad for her to get it just to shove it at the back of her cupboard as clutter . And chocolate hamper - I wouldn’t , as it’s akward to share it and who gets what ?
I would personally get her a personalised card from moonpig or such , and maybe really really nice and fancy box of chocolates , or a gift voucher of £50 inside the pretty personalised card you have made . This would go a long long way for her and she would really appreciate it as she can buy whatever she likes , I would also hand them over privately to her so the others don’t feel left out .
And for other staff members , I just wouldn’t buy anything at all , maybe a big massive thank you card and that’s it really …

We usually get given boxes of chocolates to share or small personal gifts such as a mini bottle wine, plaques or something hand made. I don’t think any of us have been given something the value of £50 where I am. It isn’t necessary to spend loads, token gifts are appreciated just as much.

One of my most treasured gifts was a little personalised keyring of my name, made with little beads. Personalised gifts are lovely but i also loved absolutely everything I was given.

We just do vouchers for key worker (Amazon, M&S) and then chocolates (celebrations or similar) for the wider team. That way they can buy what they want.
