You need to snap to it,big cheery enthusiastic nursery is great. Enough with the maudlin handwringing. You must be positive to project that to your child, that’s it’s safe, fun and mum is okay with it. Nursery It’s good fir development & social skills.

You let her go and be supportive
its not helpful to be full of dread
its a nursery not a dark alley with felons

It's ok to feel as you do but try not to pass these feelings on to your child. I remember walking home with a huge lump in my throat, the first time l left my son, if l had bumped into someone l knew l would have got upset. I also knew a friend who just sat on a nearby bench until it was time to pick her child up. Both my children were very happy at nursery.

I'm feeling bitter sweet. It's so sad how fast the time has gone and for the most part it's been amazing but I'm also looking forward to some 1:1 time with my new baby and hopefully a bit of headspace! It's ok to feel how you feel xx

Children look to parents reaction as a gauge a guide how to react, you need to be positive
other way to see it is your beautiful smart child is gaining independence and preparing for school & learning

At 3yo they settle quickly and love nursery as they enjoy being with their friends. Leaving them at 2yo is the trickiest age I think. Your LO will be fine and happy once they settle.

I was sad at first but now it’s at the point that sometimes I have a day off and still put LO on so I can do chores and have hot cup of tea!! And I don’t feel bad anymore because my LO enjoys it so much and benifitis so much from it.
or sometimes I have the week off and keep them off some days but look at the activities they have on that week and send them in certain days so they don’t miss out. And the routine is good!
so it was tough at first but I came to realise it’s all good! And great to see their little excited faces at pick up!
