i work at diff sites.

if used the same nursery it woudl involved 1 hour extra on some days.

if i used 2 nurseries- 1 1/2 days each then less car travel for the little one etc.

but 2?? he is going to be 7mths at time

what do yuo think

2 nurseries sound fine to me - I know plenty of children at my old nursery who went to 2 nurseries including a 7 month old, or shared care with 2 days at nursery, 1 at grans the rest at home etc It will be fine

Do you think a childminder might be a better option?

hermionegrangerat34 · 15/01/2008 22:02

My ds went to two nurseries from 1-2, when the first nursery moved to an inconvenient location and the alternatives didn't have enough free days each. It was absolutely fine.

the thought of trying to find childminder is overwhelming.

i have got a good nursery choice....thanks for reassuring me it should be ok

I would say no. Imo it would be too confusing.

My niece did, as neither had a full time place for her. Being around so many different people (adults and children) made her very sociable and easy going.

Absolutely - go for it.
BUT do question each nursery on their policy for communicating with other settings, when they have a child who is in another setting (IYSWIM?)
