I'm hoping their are some nursery workers on here.

My daughter (9 months) goes to a fantastic nursery and we can't fault any of the staff in her room. She absolutely adores them and grins as soon as she sees them 💓

We want to buy them a gift each for Christmas but there are 4 of them. We are going to write them an individual card to say thankyou etc but wondered if there were any gift ideas?

I can crochet so making something is a possibility 😊

A card is lovely. The gift I usually suggest is nice hand cream. The amount of hand washing that goes on, and now alcohol sanitiser too, means that hands get dry and cracked quite easily.

A card will do

What about a £5 voucher each for Costa/Starbucks etc? We have done this for nursery staff before

To be honest, boxes of chocolates go down well at nursery.

That way everyone can share. I know you want to thank the room staff cos they are the ones you see with your children, but there's a whole team behind them, cooks, cleaners, admin, etc, who often get forgotten.

I work in a nursery and honestly just the fact a parent has bothered to get us a gift is very appreciated by us so we are really not fussed what it is.
So many parents do not even bother so the staff will be delighted with any gift, which shows to us we are appreciated and thought of.

Nursery worker here, I absolutely love a card. I've still got cards from children who would now be in their 20's! ShockGrin

All good suggestions so far, hand cream, Costa vouchers, boxes of chocolates/biscuits, a hamper of coffee/tea/sugar/squash for the staff room.
I was given a little handbag size mirror about 25 years ago by a child I cared for, it’s still in my bag now.
