DD is due to get the 15 funded hours from January , I don't need her to be there any particular hours as I am SAHM but trying to decide what hours would suit us/her best, I also have a new baby, she can do 4 "half days" 9.15-1pm or 2 "full days" 8.30-4pm.

Any ideas / experiences of what works better , thanks!

I have my DD do two full days as that leaves me full days to do days out with baby and my DH who works a varying rota and has regular weekdays off also means only two drop offs and pick ups rather than four of each which would mean dragging baby out multiple times

I started with half days for my child and later in the year switched to two full days and a half day so she would get to experience lunch time and a longer day ready for the longer school days.

My daughter is in full days due to my work commitments. I often wish she was in half days as she gets so tired and ratty at the end of a long day.

If a half day can really be until 2pm that sounds good balance, I did half days for dd but was 9 - 12.30 and felt like I was always rushing somewhere, so did full days with ds's.

I would do half days.

Full days. Half days to me felt like you were always dropping off and picking up and then rushing around in between
