Sounds like my dd 2.3 is swearing

My dd 2.3 years has just learnt to say sheep as I go over different animals with her through reading and puzzles. The only problem is it really sounds like she is saying s.h.i.t. I'm am worried about her saying sheep at preschool and they think she is swearing. Everytime I point to a picture of a sheep she says sheep but sounds like she's swearing. Do I explain this to them before she says it there? She cannot really pronounce the letter p yet. I repeat the word sheep to her all the time and really emphasise the p at the end but it's not working Confused

‘Black wog’ was a particularly horrific phase, and even the bloody white dogs were black. We managed to double down to ‘woggy’, but still Blush

Another fuck for fork here! She was meant to start nursery 2 weeks ago so we've a few weeks more to try and correct it.

She's under speech therapy and anything they mispronounce you don't tell them they're wrong just correct

Dd: fuck mummy
Me: I'll get you a FORK now

Nursery staff hear all sorts of interesting combinations. Makes the job fun! 🤣

Nursery manager and my own daughter sounds highly offensive when she says Blackcurrent, it comes out Black C you next Tuesday Shock absolutely mortified me the first time I heard it, we've practiced and practiced but it still sounds the same

Thankfully she only has water at nursery so no need to ask for it!

It reminds me about my 2 year old pronouncing p as g so he kept telling everyone about going to his favourite place a ‘g a y ground’ meaning playground, my mum was mortified
