Any flexible nurseries in West London?

Does anyone know any flexible nurseries around in West London?I just want to drop DS a couple of days a week for roughly 3 hours max either in the morning or afternoon depending when the afternoon session starts that won't interrupt dc's afternoon nap.

All the nurseries I have approached so far only provide 4 days a week full 6 hours for Part time and I don't want to commit to this as it's 1) too long (dc is breastfed) 2) dc is only 18 months and I just want him to be there for no more than 3 hours and 3) I can't afford more than 2- 3 days 6 hour days.

Thank you very much in advance and would appreciate any recommendation.

Your more likely to find a flexible childminder. They work to thd same standards and are inspected by Ofsted

That’s not how nurseries work though
They have to know how many children will be in so they can legally maintain the right ratios
Also, your child doesn’t have to attend for the full opening times- you can book a session but drop and collect whenever you like within those times

Not West London but FountNursery in London Fields offer 4 hour creche sessions which can be booked with no commitment and Cuckooz Nest (co-working nursery) in Clerkenwell also have flexible sessions, with a minimum one session a week. I've used FountNursery and just did a 3 hours session once a week, and they were great. But not convenient for West London. There's another co-working nursery in SW18 called Third Door which seems flexible.

Thank you all for your replies. I don't want a childminder as I want dc to be in a nursery setting with other children. It's just when I read threads where some comments say "I leave dc in nursery for 2 days a week 3-4 hour sessions" I just think there should be some that offers this. I'm a sahm and only need the nursery so I can run errands child free and also put dc in a social setting where he could spend time with other children and actually do activities as he is an only child. I know some will say 18 months is too young to socialise but believe me dc loves kids where he runs after them in the park and when we are out shopping, if there's another toddler in a buggy, dc will point at the toddler and try to give him his dummy or his toy if he is holding in it. It's such a cute interaction Grin

I'm a childminder with 2 assistants we have 9 children and normally work alongside 2 other childminders. Socialisation is part of our provision and separation from main carer but we also have the ability to work 1 to 1 as needed. There is all the areas you would expect in a nursery and at least 2 messy play activities running at a time plus mark making construction sensory areas. We work to the same standards as a nursery why do people assume we're just doing what a parent would do at home? Soecialist training including portage signing senco Elkan Ecat and a degree.
