Hi. Have recently moved to sea mills in Bristol and have been looking for a new nursery for my DD and came across red bus nursery. It looks amazing online with a fab garden but just wanted to see if anyone has any first hand experience with them? Thanks :)

My DD went here and has just finished to start school in September. The nursery itself is lovely, great managers who communicate really well with parents. My dd started in the baby room and the love and care she received was amazing and the girls were all absolutely brilliant, especially her keyworker. The toddler room was a bit of a let down but I think that’s because of how high the baby room set our expectations. There was nothing actually wrong with it, just didn’t seem as caring as the baby room and was very chaotic on pick up. Pre-school was great too and she become very independent and finally cracked potty training Wink I definitely recommend going to look round (if possible under the circumstances)

I looked at it when deciding on a nursery for DS to start aged 8 months. It looked really lovely, facilities looked great. However, the fact that there were so many babies all milling around put me off a little.
We decided for Purple Chrildcare (BS10) instead, which he a absolutely adored. Their baby room is quite small but I liked how warm and loving they were and it seemed much more cosy for him to start off. It was also closer to my work.

We live abroad now and I'd have lived to have taken his nursery with us. He likes his current one, too, but he's in the kindergarten class of an international school and they seem to plan much less for them and it seems a lot less child-led.
