Ds has two keyworkers on a jobshare and one has hearing and speaking difficulties and the other one only just speaks english (with a strong european-type accent). He is doing potty training but has had quite a few accidents recently since non english keyworker in place. It is possible he can't make himself understood asking to go to the potty. It's also possible that he's getting a bit bored by the potty thing now its becoming more mundane and is getting distracted at nursery more so than at home.
Erm.. I'm slightly worried about his speech/language and now I have to send him to nursery more due to employment issue. Am I right to be worrying? Feel like could be bad person for thinking it.

I do add that he seems pretty happy there (except doesn't like being dropped off).

There's a polish playworker at the nursery my dd attends and if anything, dd speech has improved dramatically. Could be coincidence though. Where my dd attends, it's the NVQ Level 3 qualified leader that deals with the education side of things, and the polish playworker who helps out as an assistant. The polish playworker is very good and dare I say it, very honest. I actually get to hear the not-such-nice-things that have happened (if any) as well as the good things that have happened during the day. It is a legal requirement - well at least an OFSTED requirement I understand - that every nursery/playgroup has an NVQ Level 3 qualified person. It may be worthwhile to find out just who does what in your DS nursery, and the qualifications they hold. If none of the staff/keyworkers dealing with your ds hold an NVQ level 3 qualifications, I would be worried to the point I would take my child out.
