My DS is due to start nursery next week. They had a poor ofsted 5 years ago which I asked about and was reassured there has been a whole revamp of staff including management (part of a regional nursery group) with their recent ofsted "good" last year.
However now I'm panicking as there's been a complaint. The report says the nursery informed them of a incident, followed by a concern received from a parent.
"This notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the early years foundation stage welfare requirements to notify Ofsted of a significant event.
The provider had taken appropriate action to prevent the situation occurring in the future."
I have little knowledge of how child care providers work in regards to these things. So am I right to be so worried
