I am thinking of changing my DDs nursery to a cheaper one slightly nearer to home. She will be 2 in October and we have baby 2 due next year. I feel she has benefited from nursery so far so don't want to remove her all together. I would therefore like her to keep going to nursery for a few sessions a week once I am on maternity leave (as much as for my sanity as anything else ). I wouldn't be able to afford for her to stay at the current one but have found another which looks good and is £20 per day cheaper. It's also at the bottom of my road. It's a no brainer on paper but I am not sure how she will react. I was thinking if moving her in Jan (she will be 2ys 3 mo) which leaves a couple of months before baby 2 is due so hopefully it won't be 2 big things for her to deal with too close together. Any advice?

I would change.
I have have just changed dd's nursery to be closer to home and it is also next to the school that ds is going to. It makes my life easier that I will only have to stop once in the morning & evening and is slightly cheaper
