2nd baby due this year - what nursery schedule for 2 year old?

Hi experienced Mums!
I am due to have 2nd baby end October.
My first child ds will be turning 2 in October.

At the moment he is home with me full time, we attend many classes etc.
I would like to have some one-on-one time with my new baby, and I also think ds would really enjoy attending nursery.

My question: There are 2 nurseries that I like where I live.
Option 1 - is a mornings only nursery, a minimum of 2 mornings per week, and operates in school term time only. I would most likely start with 2 mornings and build to 5 mornings per week.
Option 2 - is full days only, a minimum of 2 days per week, operates year-around (no term breaks aside from public holidays). I would most likely do 2 or 3 full days per week.

In your experience, which option do you think would allow me to make the most of the 'nursery time' with my newborn, and also which will best allow me to get back into the routine of having a newborn and all of the feeding/pumping etc that can go with that?!!

Do you think that the term-time factor of option 1 will really impact my newborn routine when the school holidays come around and I have to look after 2 little ones full time for a few weeks?
Will whole days at nursery feel really long and tiring for my ds?

Thanks very much for your advice!!

Full days all year round will be better as your day will be too rushed with just mornings
By the time you have got reatdy and then dropped off it will be time to leave to collect
With a full day you can drop off and collect at any time; he doesn't have to stay there till closing

Be very wary of the timing of your eldest starting nursery as you don't want him to feel he is being pushed out by the new baby, so aim to get him started and settled into the nursery a good few weeks before the new baby arrives

I would also go with the full days all year and start before the new baby is born
