Nursery/Pre-school Reccomendations Camberley.

We are moving in the next week from Glasgow to Camberley.

My DD is 2.5yrs and I think its time to send her to a pre-school/nursery. She's bored at home...and I cannot entertain her any more. So perhaps once or twice a week. I have an almost 1year old as well. The days are long and exhausting. I think it would be good for her to get out and interact with other children... it gives me a break and I may make some friends..meet other parents.

I've been googling and I am more confused than before! She will be 3 in July so I know come september she is eleigible for 15free hours etc. and she will start reception spetember 2019..But I would like to ease her into leaving home by starting her in April/May of this year and throughout the summer.

My confusion is... do I just send her to any pre-school?
or is it better to send her to one attached to an infant & primary school?

Also we dont know if we will be in Camberley for longer than a year...if we like it we might buy a house...if not it might be somewhere else in Surrey/Hampshire.

Can anyone recommend some good nurseries/pre-schools please. We move monday and I would love to get in touch with schools hit the ground running with registration etc. As I also understand she must be registered before she is 3 for september intake.

It doesn't matter if its attached to an infant or not, just a good nursery or pre-school will do... I can hold that search until later this year. also one that will take a 2yr old, with or without funding.

TIA.

where about are you looking? In the town itself then nursery wise there's a busy bees, fun factory and a Montessori but if you're willing to go father out then there's even more choice.

My 3 year old son goes to st Mary’s nursery they have just moved into new premises in watchetts Park. The new building is great and a huge amount of outside space which was really important to us. It's only open 8.45-2.45 but he loves it and it has a good atmosphere. I am a SAHM so only send him for him to socialise and so his baby brother actually gets some attention!

When I was working he used to go to busy bees in the town centre which was fine.

I can't recommend St Mary's, the setting is great but they have serious staffing problems.

A lot of the best nurseries are attached to schools - Prior Heath, Crawley Ridge, all really good but quite hard to get into at short notice I think. If you need more daycare than preschool, the Fun Factory is good, as is Littleuns on Woodlands Road - it's absolutely tiny though!
