how old is she?

what does she eat for lunch when she's at home?

BizzyDint · 16/04/2007 13:59

sandwiches, fruit, and yoghurt? or you could do stuffed pittas as a variation?

or pasta from the night before maybe?

you can get little flask things that hold food warm for a few hours. they're good if you want to do something different to sandwiches.

Thank you for help. She is 31/2 and she loves pasta.I actualy never gave her a sandwich-my fault realy-only cheese-toast sandwich..Where can i buy food flask??
She will eat things like pasta or rice with liver or chicken...But can't give her that for school or i can???
She eats fruits,so can pack fruit and yoghurt...
HAVE to try to introduce her sandwiches..or as you said pitta with different stuffings... THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH..(not so smart giant afterall..ha-ha)..

lakeland do the falsk thingies, so do blooming marvellous, jojo maman and some others. i think tesco do a cheap version too.

Thermos food jars here - scroll down to 'Coolkidz Thermos Funtainer Food Jar' - will keep things hot or cold so you could make pasta salads etc.

MrsBadger · 16/04/2007 14:14

(oh and they are the really good ones that keep food hot hot - the cheaper ones like these are only really good for keeping stuff cold)

One of my minded children likes eating cold pasta, which her mum mixes up with sweetcorn, bits of chicken, raw pepper, halved baby tomatoes etc - she eats it all with her fingers, so is nice and easy.

Try to make sure that anything you send in a pot or wrapped up is something your dd can open up herself, it would make things a bit easier!

Good luck
