Paying for days off sick at nursery. Has anyone heard of insurance that parents can buy to cover these costs?

We own and run two daycare nurseries. We have a child registered who has been absent for several days due to various health problems.

The mother initially asked whether she could be exempt from paying for these days (she has set up a monthly standing order as requested in our terms and conditions.) We explained that days of illness/holidays still need to be paid as we cannot refuse to pay our staff if the nursery is quiet due to illness/holidays.

She has now come back to us asking if we have insurance to cover fees lost if we allow parents not to pay.

Obviously we are not prepared to be the ones paying the premiums for this but I have read on private schools websites that parents can set up insurance cover to refund them for lost days/fees. I imagine, though, that the premiums required would outweigh the fees, IYSWIM.

I've never heard of this for nurseries Can anyone enlighten me?
