Posting because I am in two minds whether to raise this with the nursery manager. Today when I picked up my son I was told he'd had an accident (but they weren't sure exactly what had happened) and they gave me his clothes in a bag. When I emptied out the bag and shook out his trousers a child's fist-sized lump of poo fell out of his trouser leg.
First of all, surely they could dispose of the poo themselves and not send it home with him? Am I being precious about this? Maybe, possibly, it was an oversight on their part (but it was enormous!). Secondly, how much help is he getting with toileting that a huge lump of poo in his trousers isn't noticed? He also came home with his underwear on back to front. He told me that one of the nursery assistants helped him dress.
If I do raise it, what do I say? I went through all the paperwork and they don't have a toileting policy.
