What would you do if this was your nursery?

Our kids have been at nursery for two and a half years and nine months respectively. About six months ago the manager went on maternity leave and since then there has been a massive turnover of staff and things seem increasingly chaotic when picking the kids up. I don't think it's bad enough to call ofsted but it does new addressing. The paperwork is slipping and today Ds's poo-ey nappy hadn't been noticed and the staff seem to constantly be playing catch up throughout the day. Thing is the only way to contact the owners is by email which the manager sees, and I think the interim manager may be part of the problem. I suppose I could write the owners a proper letter addressed to them.

Also we are about to move house so the kids are leaving in a few weeks anyway and I don't want this to seem like it is directly related.

How would you make your views known?

I would talk to the keyworker or room leader. They may be able to make instant change in their room, so directly affecting your children. Whereas if going through management it may take ages to filter down to the staff actually doing the work.

Won't fix admin issue but may sort the checking nappy.

It sounds like they've lost leadership, and it's a worry for little things to be slipping IMO.
I would write and let the owners know your experiences. Sure you can word it sensitively.

presumably you've already given notice so they won't think it is related?
