do/would you pop into nursery to see your 19mo when he is in for a full day?

or will that just confuse him?

i hate leaving him at nursery, i want him to be at home with me all the time, but i find that when he is i hate that too. so he is going, but i have massive guilt about leaving him there 9am - 5.30pm (because of my timetable). im a student, going back to uni next week and apart from this one full day the most he will be in on other days is a half day. i know he likes nursery, but its just the fact that the day is so long. i have a 2 hour break over lunch time, should i pick him up and take him out for lunch or leave him there?

anyone done it? anyone worked at a nursery and seen it?

NO! Will just confuse him. He'll get stroppy and upset when he has to go back. Do something you enjoy, that you don't have the chance to do normally, instead. Read a paper or have a pee in peace, go shopping, enjoy a relaxing lunch, anything to avoid the temptation to go anywhere near nursery! One full day will not kill him, honest.

i really thought cod was talking sense, and then she says something ridiculous like 'tidy up'. what do you think i have other children for?

you are all right. i am being clingy and stupid. thank you

this time next week i will probably have forgotten i even have children, will be back into normal person mode
